Elephant Sanctuary hires new CEO to run refuge HOHENWALD (AP) — The Elephant Sanctuary has announced the appointment of a new CEO to run the not-for-profit wildlife refuge in Lewis County.
Robert Atkinson is currently the head of wildlife for the United Kingdom’s Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and will assume his new duties in November.
